The trailer of Drishyam was launched in Goa on Monday afternoon. Ajay Devgn, Tabu, and Akshaye Khanna were present. Drishyam is the sequel to Nishikant Kamat’s hit thriller from 2017.

It opens with Ajay Devgn’s Vijay Salgaonkar saying his family is still being pursued Sam’s disappearance. It seems the case is still open. Akshaye Khanna is the investigating officer, and he is determined to catch Vijay’s lies. But the same problem remains- evidence. With Tabu, the former Inspector General and mother of Sam, this ‘4th-fail anpadh’ is not something to be taken lightly.

Featuring Ishita Dutta, Akshaye Khanna, Rajat Kapoor, and Shriya Saran, the film is directed by Abhishek Pathak and is set to hit theatres on November 18, 2022.

Ajay headlines the Hindi remake of 2013’s Malayalam movie of the same name, starring Mohanlal, directed by National-Award-winning director Nishikant Kamat, who passed away in 2020 at the age of 50.

‘Drishyam,’ the hit 2015 film in which Ajay played Vijay, convinced everyone that the family had gone on vacation, saving his family from a murder conviction. In the sequel, Ajay reprises one of his most intriguing characters and continues as Vijay. The story follows him on an exciting journey that leaves the audience wondering if there is any hope for him.
